For those of us whom have been Saints Fans since the beginning, beat down may not be the most suitable wordfs, but beat up and numb might work for me. I have gotten used to the constant ribbing over the years in all the different city's I lived in for being a Saints Fan. You know what it's my badge of courage and I wear it with pride. It's alot better than most fair weathered fans who jump on any winning band wagon they can. Saints Fans can take pride in the fact that no one in this universe has more loyalty and integrity.
DB1, glad to see your still around. Halo and BnB, I guess since I am still writing this I am either in Saints Heaven or did not get kicked out for insighting a riot or some other ill shiiiiiitttttt. |
Golf and sex are about the only things you can enjoy without being good at them.

..guys, guys...
... instead of pouting and feeling sorry for yourselves, you should evoke that vieux Big Easy esprit... ...get this... Saints drinking game!!!!! For every INT Brooks throws, you take a shot... Brooks fumble. shot and chaser... For every 3-and-out, you take the chaser only... .. then each of your friends picks a "wild card" for him/herself... ex: for each Carney shank, so and so takes his/her pants off... and so on... ok, someone please shoot me now!!! |

LOL - you'd better have one serious supply of shots and chasers to facilitate that program. Spoken like a true Saints fan.

True that, I'd at least like to catch the first half of the game before passing out in a pool of my own vomit. :P

I'm sorry for not posting much lately. I've been extremely busy with school and work and I do feel incredibly deflated with this team. Lately, every discussion has been the same. Nothing significantly new has happened. You can only Brooks bash so much. I'm going to continue to watch every game, unfortunately. However, I've shifted my "hopes" this season to the San Diego Chargers. Should they get past the Colts, they may just shock you all.
