Holy crap, I hope so. This guy is absolutely awful. He wouldn't start for any of the other 31 teams in the league. He's slow, takes really bad angles, not strong enough (falls backwards when he meets running backs, i.e. he got blown up agains Curtis Martin). This guy is a no-talent ass-clown. Good story? Yes. Good guy? Seems like it, and I really admire his courage and effort considering he's a 7th round pick. But am I impressed? Absolutely not. The Saints have to have hands down the worst linebacking corps in the NFL, and he's not even the third best linebacker we have (McKinnon and Watson).

Whodi, I think I completely agree with everything you said. Our secondary is one of the strongest positions on the team. They haven't given up nearly the amount of huge plays that they were giving up in recent seasons. Our linebackers are awful, and I would love to see us take AJ Hawk. He's a meat and potatoes type of dude who I think would bring a little swagger to this team. Also, with him in the middle, we could move Watson back to SLB (if he ever moved in the first place?) and then have WLB by committee. That's a huge improvement. And good point about the veteran FA quarterback. I think this team just needs a little stability at the helm. Just look at what Brad Johnson has done for the Vikings. Also, Landry would be money, but still not sure if he's going to be coming out yet.
