Whodi
I think that because you want the Saints to draft Leinart you are seeing only the drawbacks of picking Bush and none of the positives, so I'll just leave it alone. And I believe i did say that the Saints could trade the pick away. Why are you attacking that point I made? HOWEVER if they were to trade the pick you can kiss Leinart goodbye for sure. He would either be picked at 2 by whoever traded up or at 3 by Tennessee. Peyton was horrendous. 28 INTS is horrendous no matter how you slice it. Leinart will struggle no matter where he goes, ESPECIALLY w/our recievers who have amongst the worst hands in the NFL. Almost all NFL rookies do, and we are not the Steelers. Leinart needs to go somewhere where he can sit and be groomed by an NFL veteran. That ain't N.O. Who is he going to learn from, Todd Bouman??? AMAC??? He would come here and either take over the job from Bouman midseason or he'd be thrown to the wolves right away where Carolina, ATL, and Tampa Bay would pound on him twice a year. He WILL be a good QB though. However, by the time he gets good there's no telling where the team will be playing. Big picture. |

Wow this is one of the better one's
No way will a qb or rb from calf. survive in this city. Espically now unless tommy boy tells them we are going to L.A. and that is why he has gutted his N.O. front office. If bush does come out the hometown boy will stay in Houston. ASAP we pick up the phone and send AB and Howard to them for Carr. Hell throw in an offinsive lineman Gandy (for a #3). Then swap with Tenn and there #2. We could still one more swap down with the jets or GB and get what I would love to see us get both Ohio State LB's in this draft and a good LOT (go Boise ST or USC) |

Let's wait for the combine and individual workouts and see how Leinart does. No sense in getting ahead of ourselves. He may just be the next sliced toast or he may just be toast.
