Any team that actually wants Brooks has to do nothing other than wait until June 1st when he's available. Trading Brooks means accepting his $6+ million salary figure for next year. Only a fool of a GM would do that when you can work out a new cap friendly contract with Brooks in June. Dude, the guy is gone from New Orleans. There's no need to kick dirt on that situation or to expect any value in return. I mean isn't Brooks worthless? That's what I've been reading here for the last 3 years. So why would you expect to get something for him especially when it's a lose-lose situation for the trading team? SFIAH |
Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO
Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good. |
