if so, use one of the 2nds and TRADE UP to #1 with Houston. Have Bush lined up to go straight from the podium to signing a contract. All-Pro QB and a marquee RB would sell a helluva a lot of tickets.

What is the vote on this one?

I actually like that scenario. Don't get me wrong, I like Deuce, always have, but, he's getting injury-prone, he's not getting any faster, and like you've pointed out, he's bulking up. Even last year, before his injury ,I was commenting on how he looks different in his running as opposed to a few years ago. He's a grinder, getting the hard yardage but his break-aways have gone down. For the future I like Bush, if, we can still get our other areas addressed. If not, stick with Deuce, cover the glaring needs first. Any way you look at it, it's going to be a banner year for the Saints!

I'd love to have Reggie on our team but only if he's not chosen with the first pick. If Bush is on the board at #2 that would be the guy I'd like us to take. He is going to be so much fun to watch and could make an immediate impact with us. I just don't want to give up picks or players for him.

Who else is on the "Deuce is old, slow and ugly" train? Maybe there's more momentum there than we'd all like to admit...

..without getting into comparisons and analogies , you can make a constructive argument for trading up for Bush or trading down for Lendale White.
