I can't believe the hatred in your hearts. We had the same bumbling idoit stuff going on when your beloved Archie Manning was quarterback yet you worship him? Brooks gave all of you the highest moment in Saints history and if for nothing else, you should at least wish him well. All of last year I read on another board how great Peyton Manning is yet during his biggest moment, he laid a golden egg...he's a whopping 1-6 in the playoffs yet you guys worship him? Now you're worshipping a guy that I have to admit I like but he's the biggest 60 Million Dollar gamble in the history of the Saints. I hope he can get away from the rush because if the Saints don't do something major like D'Brickshaw in the draft, Drew won't last 5 games behind that defensive line that now has a gapping hole at center. So bask in your moment to say the cruelest things about the guy that brought you 5 good years of his life but be careful what you ask for...you now have your Brees...I wonder why San Diego let him get away?

It's been a long time coming, but......... SEE YA BROOKS. Alright seriously, let's all put our minds together and think of the best (by best I mean worst) AB moments. -20 yard pass to a lineman anyone?

Second, sure Brooks won a playoff game. But should we pardon his contentness with mediocrity because he won one lousy game? Hell, Jeff Blake was the one who got our team into position to get into the playoffs. All AB did was go 3-3 to finish the season. But yes, he did win that one playoff game, and I'll never forget it. But, one win isn't going to make me forget backwards passes, unforced fumbles, countless interceptions, and that freakin smile after every one of them. Third, I don't think anybody is worshipping Brees. I think a lot of people are excited that we have a Pro Bowl QB instead of a guy who hasn't led one of the most talented teams to a winning record in several years. Fourth, 5 good years of his life? The guy never wanted to win. He never cared about winning. He cared about that big contract he wanted. He never reached out to the fans, he reached out to the money. He referred to himself as a great QB on an average team. He's nothing more than an average QB with a big head. Fifth, welcome to the board! |

There's so many things I could type right now that would more-than-likely get me banned from this board. Let me just say, "woooooo-woooooooooo-freakin'-woooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

it's time for him to move on, maybe the new staff would make a difference but no more distractions, he'll be playing somewhere and we'll have a new start

Skip, are you kidding us or more important yourself, the guy is really a loser, I strongly beleive that Brooks will be at best next year a backup.
As for the OL not portecting Drew, the Saints will get him help up front, they didn't spend 18 mil. this year alone to have him get sacked 10 times a game. |
