this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I was & still am an advocate for Matt Leinart. I think he will be a very good NFL QB. That said, after signing Brees for $60 million, I think we need to fill our other needs with the draft. ...

I was & still am an advocate for Matt Leinart. I think he will be a very good NFL QB. That said, after signing Brees for $60 million, I think we need to fill our other needs with the draft. Leinart will be asking a premium price & we have other needs to fill with that money. Make a deal with the Jets & draft Hawk & Mangold with our 2 first rounders. Address DT & possibly a good RB like Joseph Addai with our second rounder(s).
