point is simple we either liked or complained about our o line. if you are one that complained then you should like that we are making moves to change that evn if those moves currently are just us getting rid of guys. if you liked our o line last year then you hate the moves. i just assume that sean knows what he is doing and if he is getting rid of these guys there must be a reason. he must want changes too. he must see some opportunity that allows for these changes to be made

Good point spk, we don't exactly know what Payton has up his sleeve, although I don't see how you can doubt him considering what he's done so far, so until the end of the offseason, I don't think that we should be getting too bent out of shape. For years people have been calling for Gandy to take a hike, and for the rest of them to leave too because they hold and false start more than a lot of other linemen, and now it's happening. Granted, I wished we could've kept Bentley (but his price was WAYYYYY too high for an OC), but I think that this might be a youth movement for our OLine.

I'd say yes to everything but Stinchcomb and Hawk. Stinchcomb is the biggest question mark on this team and I have a huge problem with even the possibility of him starting. He has proven nothing. And as for Hawk if we trade down to 4 I say possibly take him but I think if we stay at two we have to take D'Brick.

In any event it was good news when i heard we were getting rid of the walking false start known as Wayne Gandy.

If we are going to build this team we need to do it one "BRICK" at a time, LMFAO...

All in all is he just another "Brick" in the wall? Will we paint him and follow the "yellow brick road"? Will the Commodores reunite for another performance of "Brickhouse"?

I understand everyone's curiosity of trading Gandy for Scott and a pick, but at least we didn't let him go with nothing in return. This has been one of our biggest beefs with the Saints front office over the years, but now they actually made a smart move. Gandy was history anyways, but now we have depth at safety and now Smith can move to corner as many have said. We could have one of the best corner tandems in the NFL with Smith and McKenzie. I wouldn't get overexcited about A.J. Hawk being the man they draft. Saying they are moving Brown to LT seems like a HUGE smokescreen to me. Everyone here knows how general managers and coaches play this time of year. They are all trying to one-up the other. I'm not fooled by this move. I seriously think that Brick will be drafted.

People shouldn't be afraid of their government. Governments should be afraid of their people.

Exactly. The Saints are just playing that same game that all other teams play in the draft game, trying to drum up interest for that #2 pick. If they stay at #2, it's D'Brick or Mario Williams(as much as i would dislike the latter pick).

Now that we have freed up some money by trading Gandy, can we please show LaVar Arrington the money?
