So, basically you are saying 2.5 sacks is acceptable and you are willing to be ok with this as long as it is Grant who gets double teamed. Also, it was Howard who played the majority at DT on passing situations.
A) At what point did I say Grant played the majority of the time at DT in passing situations. I just said he played there and wasn't suited for it. Oops.

B) What money are you talking about for Grant? Has he made a contract demand? Are he and the team in negotiations on a new deal? What? Why is that even a part of your already poor argument?

C) Grant is one of my favorite players, so you are damn right I watch to see what he's doing. I also replay games a second time, and I went to three live last season. You obviously saw zero games. Kudos to you.

D) I do believe Grant is very good. If a player can't have a down year, on a 3-13 team, where he was the only defender teams were worried about until LATE in the season when they started waking up to Will, after a hurricane that destroyed the city and forced the entire team to endure things no other NFL franchise in history had to, then we should just cut everybody and build a roster from 0 to 53 with none of the current players right? Good call.

My head wouldn't explode, but only a fool would say Grant isn't a good player. No shortage of those I guess.

I'm a big Charles Grant fan, also. I really like his play. He's giving it his all on every down. If we were going to acquire Jevon Walker, I'd rather it be in a trade down with the Packers with our 1st round pick for theirs, Walker, and a 3rd.

And how often was he at DT on passing situations? Roll your little film tape out and count one by one if you like.

You don't think Grant is going to ask for top 10 money? Which averages about 5 mil a year and going up

Sorry, I wasnt able to go to too many games, some people got destoyed with the saints by Katrina, but I did watch them and tell me how many time did he scratch his pecans during the games?

Didn't Grant speak out against AB on the plane ride last season? That's MORE than enough reason to deal him right there.

I like that idea better, Javon for Grant doesnt help us much.....we need to get something out of this.....but i think a 2nd would be more equal than a 3rd....yea, i like a 2nd more

I'll keep Grant. The young man has the talent. A little coaching will do wonders for him. All things equal, I think that he brings more to the table as DE than Walker would bring at WR.

This could be. We should re-sign Grant to a long term deal now. We could deal W. Smith and get Walker instead?
