I'm still in your corner about Grant for Walker by the way. The crushing grip of logic has me. I might even give them Joe Horn and Onome Ojo if they'd give us Walker and their #5.

As much as I like Walker, a second is too much considering what he's proved so far. Stallworth had the same type rookie season as Walker w/ less I.R. time in the last 3 seasons. Do you guys think we could get a second for him? I could warm up to giving up a 3rd for him though.
A second next year is too much? Not to me it isn't.
WAY too much. The guy is coming off of a serious injury and has had one good season.

Who's the guy we drafted last year and got injured 1st day of training camp? Chase Lyman? Trade them straight up. Otherwise, why bother.

YES. He has not proven himself to garnish a second round pick. There are much more proven receivers being traded for 3rd-6th rounders. No offense whodi. I like Walker, but it's not worth it when you think of the receivers we could have got for far less in trade.

LOL! Chase Lyman... are you crazy?! He's a stud in the making man... though we might be getting fair value in return.

Um, you do realize this would be a second for NEXT YEAR right? A second for NEXT YEAR is worth about as much as, or less than, a third THIS YEAR. A second for NEXT YEAR is not too much to give up for Walker. I strongly have to disagree there. And what is your examples of receivers getting picks this year? Eric Moulds? On his last legs. Brandon Lloyd? Walker is worth about 10 of that guy. Walker is in his prime. A second for NEXT YEAR would be right about perfect. And the great thing about picks for NEXT YEAR, is they can be conditional, based on playing time and stats and such.

No way Walker is worthy of a trade for Grant. WR is not a need for us right now. If we made this trade, we'd be opening up a HUGE hole at DE, and would force us to take Mario Williams in the draft. Meanwhile, we wouldn't be able to use that pick to fill one of the REAL holes that we have RIGHT NOW. It's just dumb and not worth it, especially when Stallworth seems to be emerging as a potential #1 receiver and we have Horn wrapped up.
