RE: I woke up draft day and..........
DeAngelo Williams? Why would we do that? Why would we do that when there might be a guy like Winston Justice or Tye Hill or Jimmy Williams available at this spot; guys who all play positions of need. Also, not only is Deuce supposed to be ready for the season, but we also signed Bennett. Taking Williams makes no sense. Love the Mangold pick. We have to get this guy, and it looks like we're going to have a real good chance at landing him now that the Jets landed Teague. I doubt Joseph will be there at the 34th pick. If he is, that'd be a very good pickup. However, I'd like to see us take Wroten or D'Qwell Jackson or Eric Winston here. Whitworth seems like a bit of a stretch here. Are you a Tiger fan? I am, but he's not nearly athletic enough to be taken here. Love love love the Bullocks pick. That'd be awesome to see those two sharing our secondary. They have good chemistry because they've played together a lot, and it'd also be a good marketing tool for the team. |

Kind of hard to be competitive when you have roughly 13 draft picks on your team. Sounds nice, but very tough.

Deuce - Sims MAY not be the right choice, Carpenter may be better, but I just love Sims' ability to tackle, and we REALLY need a tackler.........Williams would give us a decent return man, and I have to disagree with Winston Justice being their. His stock is WAY up after his pro day........I believe with the depth at Corner in the draft that Joseph will be their.......Yes I am a tiger fan and I believe that Whitworth would be a perfect fit here. My problem with calling this a stretch is that there won't be any other talented OTs left at that pick and he would be snatched before pick 61, so its not a stretch to get a great Tackle in the second round.............But like I've said before I would throw all these picks away for Ferguson and Mangold. I think we would have the most solid line in the NFL.

With two rookies starting on it... I think it's wishful thinking. Wouldn't be even in the top 10 rated for OL.

if bush is there at #2 then i think we should be asking for more from the jets then the 2 1s n a 2... him being available at 2 makes our pick that much more valuable
