devin hester would be decent, but i like will blackmon from boston college.... we need help at the CB position and he was pretty good there... we need some help on the lines (both offensive and defensive), so i say take the BPA at those positions in the 4-7 round... would love to see us sign the kicker from memphis... watched this guy in the collegiate skills competition and he was pretty good... i am in favor of marginal guys from big name programs as opposed to big name guys from marginal programs... they seem to be maxed out potential wise by the time they get to the league, where as the underachievers (rod wright especially) seem to really get it going... look at tom brady for an example...

I think in the right system, Cameron Vaughn could be a solid sleeper...not being a homer, just a guy i am familiar with...he reminds me of James Allen with a better head for the game.

Skyler Green (WR) LSU if he is still avail. He should be a no brainer pick.
Trevis Coley (S) Southern Miss
John Eubanks (CB) Southern Miss

Quote:

Steve Fifita, NT, Utah: Fifita had high grades coming into the 2005 season but disappointed scouts during his senior campaign. Still, the explosive fireplug is a resilient prospect who'll find a job at the next level. With more teams using a 3-4 alignment, Fifita's quickness and intensity on the nose will come in handy.
Quote:

Dion Byrum, CB, Ohio: If I asked you to name the All-America cornerback who picked off six passes last season, broke up a dozen more throws and had three defensive touchdowns, it's unlikely you'd say Byrum, but that's the correct answer. A shut-down corner, he could see plenty of action as a rookie in nickel packages, and he'll eventually be a starter.

cameron vaughn would be a horrible pick up... he wasn't that good of a player at LSU... while he does make his share of tackles, he misses his share as well... combine that with the fact that he makes untimely mistakes, costly penalties (personal foul calls abound), and is a liability in coverage (he's god awful slow), and you've got one big headache....

i reallly don't see us going after skyler green either.... i wish we would but we have our receiving corps already, keeping 6 of the 11 or so that we have on the roster right now... simply a numbers game... i would love to see him in black and gold, but i really don't think that's going to happen

Drouzon Quillen--WR--La Monroe--I've already mentioned him earlier, but I looked at Mike D's guide and am even more excited about picking him up on the 2nd day. Physical guy with great hands and body control. I'd love this guy in round 6.
