this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I think we'll have one hell of a good draft this time, just you watch, I see it, even when my eyes are closed....

would this mean we basically inherited the #1 pick, as far as trade value is concerned?

I wonder how the Texan fans feel tonight, might feel better than one might think, they got Williams and still have D. Davis who's a good back, but they can't feel as good as we feel about now..

I'd go so far as to say that BnB. I remember rooting for the 49ers (only time everI will say that) to beat the Texans...I was resigned to Leinart after that. Then we got Brees and I became excited about the fact that our #2 had value to us and others...LB, OT or more picks.
Now we sit in the driver's seat and can deal as we want. And I understand that Bush has value and may be a great back, but we have a guy that is already a great back. and cost us 50 mil. His value to us is not as a player, but as trade bait. anyone who says different is still in shock at the fact that the Texan just screwed the pooch. |

If the Jets come calling offering us the 1st's then we should jump.
