Out of LSU's WR's Craig Davis is probably the best and they mention Doucet and Bowe ahead of him. Clearly, though, we'll be trading up to draft Landry. |

Stanton > Quinn.
I like Cupito but let's see how he performs w/o Maroney. Maroney helped out his stats big time last year... let's see how the Gophers hang relying more on his arm. He could be a sleeper. ASU's Kellar is better than Walters... he's going to explode this year. Those WAC and MAC quarterbacks are good also... surprised none of them are getting any recognition... watch out for Hiller to name one. |

Most likely Russel goes pro if he has a good year and starts...and then Flynn takes over for one year or vice versa...I think Perriloux ends of with two years of starting at qb

Perilloux still isn't ready to beat Flynn out. If you saw the Peach Bowl you saw Flynn not only make plays, but he managed the game really well.
I also think it's Russell this year. Flynn as a Sr. '07 Perilloux for two years. '08-'09 |

Sometimes he can look like John Elway, but alot of times he looks more like John Fourcade. You never know what to expect out of him. Don't let that one Peach Bowl game set your mind on the guy. Hell, even Aaron Brooks had some awesome games, but it was the "Jeckyl & Hyde" thing that killed him (More Hyde than Jeckyl). Jamarcus should & will start this year. After Jamarcus goes pro... don't count on Flynn beating Perriloux out. Perriloux is the real deal & he wants in the ball game.

Flynn definitely hasn't had enough game experience to decide whether or not he's consistent enough to be successful at the college level, but I do know he works.
Two years ago Saban wanted to, and tried to start Russell over Randall. Problem was, Russell wasn't putting enough in to the preparation leading up to the game, and was pissing Saban off. That went on all season. In the weeks leading up to the Capital One Bowl it kept coming out at the practices how well Flynn was doing. In that game Flynn came off the bench first to replace Randall. He was ineffective, Russell came in, and everyone probably knows how it all worked out. Flynn played really well in mop-up duty last year, and his game against Miami was about as good as it can get. He did have the benefit of LSU's OL finally being healthy along with a healthy Addai. With those three LSU might have the most talent at QB in the country, and more than the trio of Davey, Nall, and Booty (all of whom are either in the NFL - Nall & Davey - , or spent time in the NFL - Booty). I think if Perilloux is to beat out Flynn he'll have to be really, really good cause Flynn's not too bad. |
