Regardless of who is the starter this year and next, the fact that you can argue that one is better than the other when all three will end up in the NFL is a great problem to have. If you switch gears to the Saints situation at QB the last couple years...well, everyone knows that story.

Having that much talent at QB for a consistent top 10 team with a roster full of future NFL players, it doesn't matter who the starter is. LSU's gonna win a lot of games.

First, I wanna say i'm with Jeremy in not hearing anything about them simplifying the O for Flynn. Not once did I hear that.

I agree with you on Perrilloux ghandi. I am all over that kids bandwagon. And look at you making AB lover type excuses for Jamarcus. lol I like that, but ain't buying it. I saw just about every LSU game last year, except the games against the scrub teams, and there were game when JaMarcus just looked awful, then he'd hit his stride. It wasn't all about drops and Addai. Now, I like Jamarcus, I have nothing against him, but Flynn gives us more options. And seriously, how many starts does Flynn have to be compared to Brooks or Bouman? That's pretty wrong to call a guy that after he sits for 3 and a half quarters and plays in mop up duty. In a FULL game in a BOWL game, he was awesome. I guess you could take snippets of anyone's career and make them look like Brooks-Bouman. Doesn't make it right.

I posted over on the Lair asking if anyone heard about or thought we had simplified the offense. I've started an argument over there.

People are pointing to the fact that we rushed for over 200yds and didn't have to do too much with the way the offense was working. Others are pointing that we used different packages because of Flynn's mobility vs Russells.

I know I saw some things in the game (Green at QB) that I'd never seen. I know we did some things differently with Flynn rolling out.

What I mainly know, is that we took the #1 rated defense in the country and beat them like they stole something from us. It was like televised jailhouse sex, and the "U" was LSU's bit*h.

I hate Miami. I'll stop now...

Pak was right. I forgot about this article. They simplified it to take the pressure off Flynn starting against such a good D.

That article does 100% back up what Pak was saying, from Les Miles' mouth. Good memory. As far as the rest of that crap, start Perrilloux!!!! :P

Now isn't that pretty much what I said when I wrote this? LOL

Also, Jamarcus had to play with Joe Addai & key offensive linemen missing in his "bad" games this year. Not to mention, our receivers had an a**load of dropped balls that hit them square in the chest in those games. All were healthy & quite hyped after losing to Georgia & going into the Peach Bowl. And I'll also say our receivers didn't drop much in that game, either. Not to say Jamarcus is better. They both have their assets. Jamarcus has a better arm. Matt is more mobile. To be honest with you though, after watching all the practices & the "Purple & Gold" game last year, I think Perriloux will be better than both.

Clearly, though, we'll be trading up to draft Landry.

Clearly? Huh?

I think whoever gets Bush from Lousiville is getting a deal. Watching him play is like watching a big body doing moves of smaller guys. I can't wait to watch Lousville play next year, because I think they are returning their QB back to, but I am not for sure.

I recall writers making these same excuses for Brooks too. Now that I read back, it seems this guy has a bias towards Russell, and played it up fully. So there. Start Perrilloux!!!!!!!!!

Brady Quinn is an interesting prospect, but the best candidate for the next draft will have to come out early.

Adrian Peterson out of Oklahoma really is the second coming of Jim Brown. He's the most dominant player in the college game and really a once in a lifetime player.
