ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli reports free agent OL Adam Meadows (Panthers) will fly to Jackson, Mississippi to meet with the New Orleans Saints at their training camp Thursday, July 27.

Okay so he signed in 3/04 with the panthers only to retire on 8/04. We better know him from his days with the colts.

Contributed to Indianapolis offensive line that ranked second in the NFL for fewest sacks yielded with 22 in 1998, led the League in fewest sacks surrendered with a team-record 14 in 1999 and tied for the NFL lead for fewest sacks allowed with 20 in 2000.

Part of Colts offensive line that ranked first in the NFL in 1998 and 1999 and second in the League in 2000 in sacks allowed per pass attempt.

Along with guard Tarik Glenn, became the first opening day rookie starters on the offensive line for Indianapolis since 1984 when they started at Miami (8/31/97).

Now this would be a great risk to take. He sat out a year to let the shoulder heal i am guessing. so a another one year wonder contract for us? the price will be right just as it was with simmons. Atlanta is looking at him also.
