Okay so he signed in 3/04 with the panthers only to retire on 8/04. We better know him from his days with the colts. 6-5, 290 Georgia Transactions Retired (8/10/04)...Signed as free agent by Carolina (3/9/04)...Released by Indianapolis (2/27/04)...Signed to contract extension by Indianapolis (2/1/01)...Placed on injured reserve by Indianapolis with an injured left shoulder (12/24/03)...Selected by Indianapolis in the second round (48th overall) of the 1997 NFL Draft (4/19/97). GP/GS Career (103/96) [3/3]; 2003 (12/5) [0/0]; 2002 (14/14) [1/1]; 2001 (15/15); 2000 (16/16) [1/1]; 1999 (16/16) [1/1]; 1998 (14/14); 1997 (16/16). Career Highlights Started 61 games from 1999-2002 for Indianapolis while helping quarterback Peyton Manning become the first player in NFL history to pass for more than 4,000 yards in four consecutive seasons. Cleared the way for Colts running back Edgerrin James to lead the NFL in rushing in 1999 and 2000. Contributed to Indianapolis offensive line that ranked second in the NFL for fewest sacks yielded with 22 in 1998, led the League in fewest sacks surrendered with a team-record 14 in 1999 and tied for the NFL lead for fewest sacks allowed with 20 in 2000. Part of Colts offensive line that ranked first in the NFL in 1998 and 1999 and second in the League in 2000 in sacks allowed per pass attempt.
