Panthers | Fields looking to make a comeback
Sat, 5 Aug 2006 20:12:11 -0700

Darin Gantt, of the Rock Hill Herald, reports free agent LB Mark Fields (Panthers) is looking to make a comeback and play again in the NFL. Thee 33-year-old Hodgkin's disease survivor has not played since the 2004 season, but is about to start auditioning for NFL teams.

now here is a 33 year old lb that could help and would not cost us a ton of picks. Besides I always like Mark.

I'm really glad Fields is doing well enough with his health to attempt a comeback. I'll be pulling for him, even w/ the Rams or Jags. If he make a team in the NFL and play well, that would be an amazing story like Alonzo Mourning.

I saw him on TV the other day, he looks good. If he can do it more power to him. it's a damned sight better than some will ever do.
