no one has said it yet
did you notice the difference from when we had haz. was anyone else happy that we didn't have all the dumb penalties. was anyone else happy to see us play good and look like an efficient unit out there. i am not syaing we are perfect or that we are going to the super bowl or even the playoffs. i am just saying we have something to build on. we didn't look like a circus out there for once. that is all i was happy to see. anyone else agree?

I had some friends to my house to watch the game tonight. Sometime during the 3rd qtr someone commented on the lack of stupid mistakes and drive-killing penalties. That was the topic of conversation for the rest of the evening.
So, Yes it was noticable by it's absence. A great thing to see. We will not compete for the Big Game this year. But, it is nice to think that we have something to build upon for the future. Thanks for pointing this out spk. |

He was hit with a ball as Archie Manning described it; "Between the 1 and the 9" on his jersey. He totally missed it. If he still cannot extend his arms and recieve a throw with his hands instead of letting every toss hit him in the chest to catch it he doesn't "GET IT!" and should be let go or returned to the running back position. Donte looks good riding his bicycle but when he does again hit the field he had better produce. His not very precise routes and his stone hands had better disappear because this coach doesn't talk about potential. He wants results. REFRESHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hey everybody, Lyman got hit repeatedly and didn't have his own MRI team come and examine him immediately! Big Ups Chase! Mike Haas has hands of stickum just as advertised and was ALWAYS open. WOW! #3 or #2 WR come opening day. Chris Horn? Meh. Marques Colston? NICE! Jamal Jones? He will stick. Devery and Donte? Be afraid. BE VERY AFRAID! |
I'm no one.

2) Hass was not always open. did you forget about the pass between defenders? that was a sweet throw and catch. You better tackle the kid cleanly, he always was looking for the extra yards. 3) Chris Horn did good 4) Closton will only get better. big step up in comp. for him. scary. 5) Jamal is what every body has been saying he was. SURPRISE The two big buc boys have alot to worry about. They are good candidates for the salary cap moves. should be an eye opener for both. After last night I say we do not need them. okay a bit premature. 7) JOE IS JOE. He always makes me |

Hass, Colston, & Jones will compete for the #2 spot soon. Stallworth is in the doghouse & Henderson just flat out can't catch. Not to mention, he fell down on a key block that could have put Reggie in the endzone!

i love haas and i really really hope we don't get rid of the guy. he will never be an elite wide out but will always find a way to get open and make a play. plus isn't a slow white guy required for teams at this point. they should be, we are facing extinction

I think Hass will make the team if he keeps not dropping passes. The catch he made in coverage last night will raise his stock with the team.
