this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; The guy did the same thing in college. He had huge games against sub par competition, but in the big games....Super Mario was nowhere to be found....

i agree to an extent.... i'm not in favor of drafting someone just because in shorts and a t-shirt they run sub 4.4 forties and bench 225 lbs 89 times.... that don't translate all the time to being a good football player... those numbers simply mean that they are fast and strong.... give me proven players that were essential to their college teams success the previous year... was mario williams so productive in college b/c he's good? or was it because their defense had 2 other 1st rd picks that took blockers off of him? we'll soon find out this year...
