this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; With the young receivers getting such rave reviews it certainly would be easy to give up Beerman, Bethel Johnson, or Jamal Jones to fill their KR need. Throw in a 5th-7th rounder if needed. Do it....

And the Edwards deal, as much as we talk about it, has nothing to do with the Saints...it is all contingent on San Diego realizing that they are happy with their young LB's and they can afford to move him. When that day comes, he will be a Saint. The Saints would make the move today if San Diego knew for sure they wanted to move him.

that's all great but even is christ himself donned the black and gold, he wouldn't get to the ball carrier either b/c he'd be tangled up with blockers and stuff.... our defensive line is terrible (even with the 2 ends we have) and that's the stroy morning glory.... until they get better vs. run and better rushing the pass, we'll have lackluster performance on defense by the linebackers and secondary.... we have to shorten the amount of time that the qb has to scan the field and narrow/clog running lanes... til then, it wouldn't matter if we had the dome patrol back, they wouldn't be effective either....

I wouldn't give away Jones LkELLY, he can catch and contribute to the offense, he can be a #2, the others won't contribute as much as Jones can
Bethel, 6th or 5th round pick for Donnie Edwards, maybe even our 2nd 4th rounder since we have two of them |

I just heard on NFL radio that we offered the Chargers a 4th round pick for Edwards
