Buccaneers Release Wide Receivers Ojo, J. White
.c The Associated Press TAMPA, Fla. (May 9) -- Receivers Onome Ojo and Jermaine White were released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Friday. Ojo spent most of last season on Tampa Bay's practice squad. He entered the NFL in 2001 as a fifth-round draft pick of the New Orleans Saints. Hate to see this kid go by the wayside. He did have potential. |

No he didn\'t. He was very very fast... but he had no hands, and didn\'t understand the game at all. I thought the talk about him was always hype. At best he could have been a straight down the field deep threat.

He may have been a possibilty, because of speed, to return kicks or punts. But you do have to be able to catch the ball first.
