this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Face it, with Brees at QB Stallworth would still be putting up those numbers here. There is not a catch that Colston has made that Stallworth would'nt have. The whole he drops the ball thing is old. He does it ...

Face it, with Brees at QB Stallworth would still be putting up those numbers here. There is not a catch that Colston has made that Stallworth would'nt have. The whole he drops the ball thing is old. He does it no more then any other receiver in the league, and we all know who was throwing the ball to him before.
I'm glad he's doing well and he keeps it up, no doubt the change if scenery might be the key, but we'll never know? |

I find it hard to find fault with Stallworth. I for one hope he does well in Philly. As I reported from training camp, he just got sideways with Payton, He never got out of the dog house. However, you'd have a hard time telling me that i'm sorry we kept Payton instead of Stallworth. If one had to go,I'd have to pick Stallworth too. 2 and 0 looks real good right now!

devery henderson IS donte stallworth. you can only have one on your team at a time.
i think donte is a good guy who lacks discipline. the change did him well and good for him and donavan. but, i think he drove peyton nuts. devery's drop on3rd and 10 looked just like somethin stallworth would have done. but, i still enjoyed watching donte make big plays for this team. i wish him well. |

He certainly made up for it though. SFIAH |

It was you trying to knock another good day for Donte talking about a drop that even made me mention it. Colston has looked good, and Donte has looked pretty damn good too, it's okay to say that man. Donte's not coming back if you say he has played well.

Donte has looked good, but that's just me judging by his stats. I saw the highlights of his TD catches, and I might be wrong, but it looked like both of them so far this season have been on blown coverages or something where he's just standing all alone...
I think he's a good receiver, but I also think we got a pretty good deal out of that trade. |
