The Giants are a pretty good team, maybe Donte is just getting open or blowing by guys? That's not his fault. There were SEVERAL blown coverages on Donte while he was here, and we had #2 still throwing it to Joe Horn, not going through progressions, or spinning in the pocket or some such. Think about it, if you look at the Eagles receivers, who would you say is the #1 1 right now? Donte. Do you honestly think a team like the Giants would just blow coverage on him? Especially after the week he had last week? AND, a blown coverage may lead to a TD, but 141 yards(last week)? And 81 this week? Are they all blown coverages? Donte is a good receiver. It's okay to give him credit. HE got a better QB, and the results are speaking for themselves.

Okay whodi.......I guess I'm still sore from all the drops when he was here. He has looked good without "Fumbles" throwing him the ball. Regardless......Colston is becoming the receiver I thought he'd be, so I'm still glad we traded Stallworth & gave this young man his shot. It looks like he's going to make the best of it. Geaux Saints!!!!

No doubt. Colston is a beast. How well Donte does or doesn't do is not gonna take one thing away from that. I am glad we have Colston. This dude is talented. I just don't see a reason to knock Donte cause he is also doing well. It didn't happen here, but that's all water under the bridge. Two good players. One good thing though, Colston is younger than Donte, we we can keep him longer. I'd give him an extension right now before he gets TOO good playing on a 7th rounders contract.

I would guess we will get the 3rd in the DS trade fo sho now too.

Good point on the 7th rd money. Good picks like that is a key ingredient to franchise success. Then when they extend early you still get them below market value (since they get the security early). Pittsburgh has been doing some very wise extensions just that way. Look how many miles/wins the Pats got out of Brady before they had to up the ante for him.

Go Donte! I wish him all the success he can "catch". He couldn't latch onto his potential here but I don't think he was a part of the problem like some of the well known bums that were coddled.

So Stallworth DID simply beat his man:

g. I thought the Giants signed Sam Madison to help their secondary, not be an arsonist. Bumping at the line is supposed to be one of the things he does well, but he whiffed on Donte' Stallworth's first-half 22-yard TD reception from Donovan McNabb. Stallworth was open all day.

Against Sam Madison too. Go Donte!!!!

Anyone taking odds how many times he'll score when the Saints go to Philly?

Good for Donte'. He's playing with a chip on his shoulder right now and is performing well.
I have $50 on the Saints to win, but by God I hope he gets over his 'chip on the shoulder' by the time they go there.

I feel for any grown man who "likes" the look of the Olsen twins. They look 12 still. Gross. But to each his own. :P
