RE: Joe Video
As much as I love Joe, most of those highlights are from when Ricky Williams was our RB. I haven't seen Joe in that form in at least 2-3 years. I know the guy's hurt & that last season gets a pass, but I haven't seen the real Joe Horn yet this season either.....flashes here & there, but not the real Joe yet. I'm sure he'll show up when he's healthy. Luckily we have a kid who is as clutch as clutch gets in Colston. Devery has performed well also. I can't wait to see what this team can do when Joe is healthy.

RE: Joe Video
He's still a great player, he's opening up oppurtunities for players like Colston and DH

Joe Horn has been one of my favorites since he first came to the team. However, I agree with those of you who feel that he's lost some of his breakaway speed.
I think he still has great hands. He showed us that this past week when he got the wind knocked out of him as he landed on his back. But, in the next phase of his career, he'll prove to be a great possession receiver after Colston becomes the Saints number 1 option. (Provided Joe's salary fits within the salary cap) Joe will continue to be clutch; just like Brandon Stokley (Colts), or Joe Jurevicious (injured w/ Browns), or the greatest of all possession WR's, Ricky Proehl. Not to mention he's become less selfish, and a better leader on the team. That's been his biggest area of growth the last 2 seasons. |

Hey, short term memory Saints fans, did y'all forget that slant he took 50+ last week against Green Bay?

It was a 50 yard play where he was pushed out of bounds. It was an awesome catch and carry, but back in the day he would have taken that to the HOUSE! |
