Not very impressed with the saints
SOrry for drinking the hate-r- ade but i'm just not convinced about this team. i'm happy about our record, but we could easily be 1-4. shouldn't we be blowing the browns, bucs, and packers out; instead of just hanging on to win? Let's see what happens when we paly the eagles, steelers, and bengals until we get too excited.

Hey so we rejoyce with wins. Every win is a bonus after getting a new coaching staff, and having only half of last years team. Woulda coulda shoulda. No one here says we will make the playoffs but we all still hope so. No one says we will win every game. What do you need to be convinced about?

Ridiculous. You can say any team could "easily be 5-0" or 0-5, or whatever the hell you want your point to be.
Also, does it really matter how much we win by? A win is a win is a win. It doesn't matter how much you win by. When the Bucs demolished the Raiders in the Super Bowl, was the end result any different than when the Rams beat the Titans by a yard? NO. Why? Because they won. Doesn't matter what the score is. I also noticed how you conveniently left out that we did blow out Atlanta, who has the best record amongst teams we've played. I mean I agree that there's still a lot of season left to go, but this team won 3 games last season, and we've already beaten the Bucs and Falcons who both had playoff aspirations at the beginning of the season; give this team some credit. |

RE: Not very impressed with the saints
All I gotta say is Colts 13, Titans 13.......it doesnt matter how much u win by, as long as u win. The points in blowouts dont carry over to the next week, so i could give a rat's A$$ how much we win by, as long as we win.
Man Saints fans are never happy.....First, all we wanted was a good coach, and we got it. Then, all we wanted was a smart QB, and we get Brees. Then we wanted a good draft, and Bush falls in our laps and we have around 4 rookies starting. Then we wanted to win some games, and we are 4-1 and people still arent happy. Geez............ |

If you want to be pesimistic, i'll give you something to be pesimistic about! no win is easy in the NFL..close wins are as good as 40-0 . You are a (watch your insults... that's your second today... PAPZ) and should get off this site right now! Thank you

Guess he beat me to it.
Anyhow, I kind of share the same sentiment... at least with this game. I'll take a win however it comes though. But we can't expect to play the way we did versus Tampa against Philly. They are playing on a whole different level right now. We need to bring out A game out like we did against the Falcons if we even expect to have a chance. Still though, we're 4-1 baby... gotta love that. |

RE: Re: RE: Not very impressed with the saints
Last year we were 3-13, we lost to the Bucs twice last season but we beat them once already this season, some said going into the season that the Bucs would make the playoffs at least and we would win 5-6 games, we have 4 won already..
Which of the two was the biggest surprise?, us beating the Bucs by the skin of our teeth or the Colts pulling out a win against the Titans with barley no time on the clock, most would pick the Colts game, a lot of people including myself thought the Bucs game was going to be a hard game for us, it always is against the Bucs. The Dome is sold out for the year, we added Bush and Brees to our team, we lucked out in drafting Colston and Harper not to mention Bush as I stated in adding him to the roster. I want to enjoy this 4-1 start, I'll worry about the rest of the wins later... |
Rest In Peace JoeSam, thanks for everything my friend.

had to pull an umbrella out of my *** before reading this BS.
you got your opion but you are so wronge. It is simple GOOD TEAMS FIND A WAY TO WIN. that is all it is about. we have a team were the bounces are going our way for once. This team stays calm no matter what. luck has alot to do with winning the close ones as much as skill. right now the skill is out wieghing the luck. when you start hearing super bowl talk then i will join in. we are not that good after 4 games. chicago and san diego are. even then san diego manged to loose one. |
