this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I don't think I ever said Iw as upset about losing Harper. I am upset he won't have his rookie year to learn the speed of the game and get better, but nothing he has done on the field yet ...

I don't think I ever said Iw as upset about losing Harper. I am upset he won't have his rookie year to learn the speed of the game and get better, but nothing he has done on the field yet makes me feel he was worth a second round pick. He was getting better though as the games went on, or, at least less visible. So don't lump me in there. I stll watch San Diego and get pissed seeing Marcus McNeil dominate people on the O-line. I just don't like to see any player get hurt for a year, especially on our team.

I'm just glad no one else picked him up so we could get someone familiar w/ the system. We'll have the bye week so Bellamy has time to get reaccllimated. If nothing else, he's a veteran reserve who can mentor Harper and get him ready for next season. I'm not fretting the loss of Harper too much since Stoutmire has played well. The loss of Ninkovich hurt us more because he was playing well on spec teams and as a reserve pass-rusher.

I'm with AllSaints. I have always liked Bellamy. I'm glad he's back, even though it is unfortunate that he has arrived at the expense of Harper's injury.

Not just you. I second that emotion. Bellamy is one thing from the Haz regime that I welcome back. Let's pray that Gary Gibbs doesn't get hurt and Payton calls..... Rick Venturi! Chills anyone? |

At ease troops, Venturi is with the lambs and his hero. That would be tampering! |
