Oh i'm definitely going....it was just kinda frustrating having to change plans like that...............but all i really did was move the hotel reservation from Saturday to Sunday, so I'll be fine. Should be a great game and I look forward to being there.

I go to a bar and watch all the games anyways but it will be nice to watch one at home.
I too live in the dreaded Jet/Giant/Eagle triangle and RARELY get to see my Saints play on national TV. I was shocked to see them televised this Sunday, but they were only on the Philly Fox station, not the NY Fox station.

This will work great for me, as I can watch them on TV that Sunday night, get to see them play in the Superdome firsthand against the Skins, then come back home and freeze my tail off watching them play at Giants stadium.
Excellent!

If things continue to pan out the way the are, and Carolina makes a run for it too, I can see them moving the week 17 game for us also.

I live in Big 10 country. Packers, Bears and Vikings are all we get here. I've seen one Saints game at my house this season and the rest at bars.

I mean honestly, aside from a minor re-working of hotel accomodations, what can anyone possibly have against this flex scheduling? Instead of getting a game everyone thought would be good (perhaps Atlanta and Tampa) we are getting an excellent game with HUGE playoff implications. With or without the Saints in this game, flex scheduling is nothing but a blessing for the NFL fans.

I'm going to be real mad if they move the Carolina game to night time. It's New Years Eve!!!

Because not everyone has an entire day free like I fortunately have that day. What if someone had an appointment/engagement for Sunday evening, but got tickets to the game thinking it was a noon-time kickoff? Or how about this, what about someone who has to be at work at 11 PM for a night shift? I mean, do you realize the difference between a 12 Noon kickoff and a 7:15 PM kickoff? Much more significant than moving the game from 12 PM to 3 PM or something.

As for me, it isn't anything that's going to keep me from going to the game, but now I'm going to have to request Monday off from work (or at least the first half of the day) because I live 3 hours from Dallas, and there is no way I'm gonna drive home after getting out of that game at close to 11 PM. I have a state job so it's fairly easy for me to use leave time, but still......I didn't have plans originally to use any leave time for this game, seeing as how I would have had no problem getting back home Sunday evening with the originally scheduled noon kickoff. Also, just because I won't have any problems getting that Monday off from work, doesn't mean someone else in a similar situation would be able to request off that easily.

So anyway, since you asked the question as to what anyone could POSSIBLY have against flex scheduling, I hope my answer gives you some insight.

UNFORTUNATELY, I was told there is a strong possibility that it will be moved to primetime pending the outcome of the next three games

I think it's fantastic. I am going to this game and it is going to be a COLD one, especially at night. So while all of those loser Cowboy fans are out in the stands freezing their a**es off I will be in my customer's luxury box wearing my Reggie Bush jersey laughing at them all through plexiglass as we whip some a**.
