Personally, I love the new flex scheduling. It means that 1) there are less boring, one-sided, meaningless games on in primetime later in the season and 2) and this is the best of all, I get to watch the SAINTS more without having to hike over to the sports bar.
Unfortunately, even though there are hundreds of thousands of SAINTS fans in Houston, unless the SAINTS play a nationally televised game it is NEVER shown in Houston. Even when Dallas at any other time than noon on Sunday (Dallas games are ALWAYS on), the local Fox affiliate will show infomercials or old movie reruns rather than showing the SAINTS or another NFC game. I believe they have some kind of a deal with the NFL to do so. Either way, it S U C K S!!! |
