Coincidence???
Ok, I didn't do any research into this so I could be off a bit, but the loss yesterday got me to thinking.
The last time I remember a NFC South non-playoff team sweeping an NFC South playoff team in a season was in 2002. The non-playoff team: Saints. The playoff team: Bucs, that season's SuperBowl Champ. This season, the non-playoff team: Panthers; the playoff team: Saints: This season's Superbowl winner? Maybe. Anyway, it's just something that popped in my head. |

RE: Coincidence???
I don't look at it at a sweep because our starters were on the sidelines, yesterday's game was all about protecting the starters for sake of injury..
But on paper, yes, it was a sweep |
