LMAO........ Heck no! Keyshawn is done with the NFL. He's got his ring, he should just bow out gracefully. Besides that, even for one year, he would ask for a mint, and I don't think he's worth it. What were his stats with the Panthers? I don't remember him having an outstanding season with them. JMO.
If he does get out of football, he could always become Dwayne Jarett's agent. Heh heh heh |

That's a pretty good number of passes he caught. Smith was out several games which probably helped. I don't reallt think he can help us, but certainly not at that price.

I think he would actually be a great signing. Obviously at a reduced rate. But he might be able to still produce. Plus he would be a good mentor to Colston as a big possession receiver. We lost our veteran leadership with the receivers when Horn left. And I'm not sure how much good Patten could do. If Johnson could accept that role, that is.

Ha ha o wow. Keyshawn you just got PUNK'D!!! Having to listen to him sit there and blabber on about how he was excited to have Jarrett (and listen to Steve Young say about 100 times that "yes, i heard him say before the draft pick was announced that Keyshawn hopes they take him") was enough to make me puke, so this is pretty hilarious. Did anybody else notice that like 45-second awkward pause Keyshawn had with Jarrett on that videoconference when DJ got selected? Ha ha it was one of the most awkward television pauses ever; somebody had to say into Keyshawn's ear: "say something to him you idiot."
But anyways, I wouldn't mind giving Keyshawn a year contract. His attitude is stemmed with his old age and he can still be productive, especially in the red zone where we have our most offensive struggles. |

Keyshawn "Watery Eyes" Johnson
Keyshawn is too much of a cry baby like Jake Delhomme. I don't think I could watch him disgrace the Saints in front of national audiences like that. As well as the world wide SuperBowl audience next year.
