this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I would pick him up. We don't have someone as good as Keyshawn at going over the middle. He's also a great blocker....

First off, The site looks GREAT!
Second, I like how we did in the draft and UDFA. Third, Keshawn will be a Cowboy or a Charger. Lastly, It's good to be back home at the Black and Gold! Thanks Halo! |

I think he would be an excellent replacement for Horn - a veteran, go-to, possession receiver. Plus, you have the added advantage of his blocking ability and Superbowl experience. I think, at the right price, he would be a great addition. His attitude has definitely toned down the last couple of years.

saints should pick him up cuz he's much better than patten...plus peyton has worked with keyshawn in Dallas so he knows what Keyshawn brings to the table. this is the way I see this year's depth chart with Keyshawn...Colston, Keyshawn, Meachem, Henderson, Copper or Jamal Jones

As it stands now, i think Patten will have a hard time making the team. he just cant stay healthy. As far as the comparison between McKnight and Colston, you cant say that McKnight came from nowhere because everyone who studied the draft knew about McKnight. Not many people knew about Colston, myself included.

Colston was outplaying the league before he got hurt. Keyshawn couldn't outplay Wayne Chrebet, for crying out loud. As for the leadership aspect, no need for any more sheriffs than Brees and Deuce. ${big_mouth} != ${leadership} |
