this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Its odd how our top ranked O has problems with Defenses that play smash mouth football. What would our world be like with a 'bringin' on the pain' style D like the Dome Patrol of old and our outstanding offense ...

What would our world be like with a 'bringin' on the pain' style D like the Dome Patrol of old and our outstanding offense now? Things that make you say, hmmmmm.... |

Re: Flash back saints (the dome patrol)
Thanks for posting this. It really brought some great memories. It seemed like even though they (our opponents) knew they couldn't do it, they'd always try to run outside on us. I loved watching our guys move down the line and shut off running lanes. It was truly an awesome display of what a defense is supposed to do.

Re: Flash back saints (the dome patrol)
WOW. Brings me back to the days when I would be the ONLY student out of 5,000 at my high school that would show up wearing Saints gear. I loved the clips of the Raiders game. I'm pretty sure that was the night we shut them out 23-0. Very nicely done!
