I think we need to continue to analyze personnel decisions. I think PapaVoodoo is close to the mark on his analysis. During the game I started doing slow motions on the Colts running plays and Simineou was non existant. Simmons couldn't be worse could he?

I'm reserving judgement on David. Dude has been playing in a cover 2 for 4 years. He unfortunately was still playing pass the receiver zone out there. Let's see if he gets better once he realizes that his only job is to lock up with the receiver in front of him.

Someone once posted about how Simoneau gets caught up inside too much so I paid attention to him in this game and it is true. I saw a couple of times a run play to the left that Simoneau headed toward the line of scrimmage only to get blocked in when it was clear the RB was going to have to be chased down at the sideline.

The other big problem in the game other than the aforementioned David was the O-line. No protection = no offense. Reggie needs to learn how to read he blockers. One time the O-lineman laid his guy out only for Reggie to be tackled by the guy because Reggie ran right into him. Not good. We also got stopped on a third down play because Reggie decided to dance in front of the first down marker rather than get past it. It was like he was scarred to go across the yellow line! Bad, bad, bad.

I was making a comparison. Tebucky is/was a great athlete with speed, but he sucked. Just becuase Bullocks is fast and more athletic than KK doesn't mean he should start. John Lynch is slow and he's a lot better than Bullocks, Tebucky, and a lot of other safeties.
