Re: Done

I still have faith that the Saints can turn it around, it's one thing to be 0-2 with no talent on the team but they have a ton of talent, we all know that can score points, just haven't seen much of it in the first two games.
The Saints will be home next week, maybe that will motivate them some but it won't be an easy task going up against the Titans, no matter where they play them..

Re: Done

Ya know....the only thing that maaaaybe I can cut a break on the Saints for today was the heat. Folks...I am currently living in Sarasota. I started working in landscaping with my father-in-law. Working in this heat can really really take its toll on anyone I can only imagin how they felt wearing black and playing in this infernal heat. To top it off...I walked outside today and it was crazy humid down here.

The offense started looking a lot better towards the end of the game and they started finding their rhythm a little bit. I think we can correct a few things before Monday Night.

The heat was bad for both teams, Brees said they trained in the heat in Mississippi and that the heat wasn't a factor going into the the game, I heard the Brees comment just before kickoff.
I think what bothers me the most is the lack of our running game and Brees' passes off a bunch.

The running game WAS effective. The only problem was that they kept fumbling... we only lost 1, though. We had 70+ rushing yards in the first half.

The problem was the passing game. We had a couple of dropped passes and the TB defense got pumped and started to play way better than they are. After that, it was just catch up... and, obviously, the Saints stayed rocked all game.
