this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Dude, the dome cheered on the defence each and every play. Even special teams got their share of noise. The booing for the offense wasn't excessive, but it probably needed to be. Their playing was dismal....

Yup. A one hit wonder you were. Uh, Reggie Bush is better than Westbrook? Keep drinking the kool-aid.

If you are looking to place blame for the fan fall out you needn’t look far, simply look to the team itself You say the fans have not been there for this team on a ""regular bases""… I say the fans have been the only constant in all of this mess The simple fact that they have a sold out season says that much at the very least If anyone has been anything on a ""regular bases"" it’s the team …and they have been bad on a ""regular bases"" So let’s give credit where credit is due More importantly Benson is a businessman, and it’s common knowledge that a businessman is not out to loose money so I can tell you, with a fair amount of confidence that he would not stay in New Orleans if his team (aka: business) was not making money So I say the fans have earned there side of things after 20 plus years of supporting this team and now it’s time for this team to start earning the fan’s support. And I may be mistaken but, isn’t that this year’s whole team motto… …EARN IT! or did I read that wrong and it realy said... ...EAT IT!!! |

Shame!
Early in the first half after an incomplete pass I hear Boos from the fans. How can those (SO CALLED) fans throw the team back to the wolves like that so quickly? Its so sickening to hear and Im ashamed to be associated with those people. The job of a fan is to help motivate the team not to help them self distruct! It sounds like the same song from those fans its getting old. Respect this team and support them no matter how great or terrible they may play year in and year out. BLESS YOU BOYZ for putting up with that kind of behavior and good luck with the rest of the season.

The job of an NFL fan is to buy season tickets, concessions, NFL merchandise, and the Direct TV NFL package. Ask Tom Benson.
Booing and/or cheering is optional. |

Booing? Why not? We suck right now...we suck hard right now. We're making stupid mistakes and playing terrible football. Tulane could hang 30 on our D and I doubt our O could score 2 TD's against em'. I wasn't there, but had I been there you can count me among the boo birds.

Maybe we should look back to Brees jumping for the 1st down. Duece blowin out his other knee. David breakin his arm. They make a ton of money but when they play at home we should show them how happy we are that they are our team. This was a good homecomin booing in the 1st qt.

Look, I am as disappointed and broke down as all of you, but if the returning number one offense is playing as badly as we are right now then the fans have every right to boo them. I don't expect the fans at the game to cheer when things are not going well. Seems like they were pretty damn loud when the Defense was in until it got out of hand. Booing the best way to voice your opinion to all Saints personnel, letting them know they need to get their a** in gear and they did until that crucial Brees fumble.
