You read and here all over the place how good the fans are in NO. I believe it. We just need to learn how to be that 12th man. We have never been that on a regular bases. As far as running from the water hole with my tail tucked, sorry can not do that. I am a man and can handle the truth. We suxed as fans last night on national TV. That is the truth. I am still proud to be a saints and hope that Sean does give lessons to the fans. He has commented more than once about there behavior. I rack it up to lack of knowledge. Not so much the fans fault as the Teams history. If it costs to much to support the team when they are lossing give up the tickets. For those on the waiting list for season tickets please remove your name. I am looking for a second set. |

You said you were sitting in a bar watching the game… So that tells me that you didn’t buy tickets. The fans were booing because this is what happens when people spend there hard earned money on crap and last nights game was nothing short of that. If you are looking to place blame for the fan fall out you needn’t look far, simply look to the team itself You say the fans have not been there for this team on a ""regular bases""… I say the fans have been the only constant in all of this mess The simple fact that they have a sold out season says that much at the very least If anyone has been anything on a ""regular bases"" it’s the team …and they have been bad on a ""regular bases"" So let’s give credit where credit is due More importantly Benson is a businessman, and it’s common knowledge that a businessman is not out to loose money so I can tell you, with a fair amount of confidence that he would not stay in New Orleans if his team (aka: business) was not making money So I say the fans have earned there side of things after 20 plus years of supporting this team and now it’s time for this team to start earning the fan’s support. And I may be mistaken but, isn’t that this year’s whole team motto… …EARN IT! ![]() ...EAT IT!!! |
