Re: Vanderjact
I seen the Mare kickoffs and I was not very impressed. Yes, he does kick some out of the end zone, but just like his field goals, he gets very little height on them. If a guy gets a clean catch on one of his kickoffs that go about 5 yards deep in the end zone, that guy has a great chance at bringing it out to the 30. Want to eventually see a guy take a 107 yard kickoff return for a TD against the Saints, then let Mare keep kicking them. It will eventually happen.

Re: Vanderjact
He is at field goals, as I am at driving a golf ball. I can hit it 300 yards, but I won't promise which way it'll go.

Mike Vanderjagt - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Go give that a read. He is the most accurate kicker in NFL history and he was 100% on FGs and PATs for the season when Payton had 49 TDs. He ran his mouth a lot and missed a few crucial kicks in the Playoffs, but the talent is there. Can he keep his head straight? |
