this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; If they'd just be more consistent... but this team is like a box of chocolates. Can you tell me which Saints team will it be today? Some days, nobody, and I mean nobody could be us. Others days, Holy Cross ...

Some days, nobody, and I mean nobody could be us. Others days, Holy Cross could come in and wax us.

I tell ya they've got more schizophrenic personalities than Sybil on acid.

Re: Same ole Saints! We are famous for . . .

I said the following on October 08, 2007, when we were 0-4:

I predict that we will (eventually) do better, probably ending up 7-9 or 8-8. Over the many, many years we have been good at being bad, but we have been even better at being mediocre. You know we are usually not good enough to make the playoffs, but not bad enough to wrap up a top 3 pick.
I still stand by it, and the team.

we got it back to an 8 point game and it came down to an onsides kick in the last sconds.
this is a good team.

May we buck the curse.
I think we all know where that curse started
back before the AFL NFL merger
but this 2007 NOLA Saints
WILL go to the play offs as long as we beat TB
Katrina washed the curse from the SuperDome, it's all on the shoulders of the team now.

With 7 games left to be played the Saints can still make a run...but time is running out on the season.

Why do we do this year after year lose to winless teams. Coach Payton needs to get his head out his a$$ and stop calling passing plays. We won the past four games by being balanced. We ran Reggie 7 times that was ridiculous. Come on Saints their are people in this great state of Louisiana that believe in you.

Karney never broke a sweat! Stecker pops off a 13 yard run to start the game then disappears. The defense spends the next 40 out of 59 minutes trying to catch their breath. No balance on offense at all. This is the bite in the a$$ I was talking about if we don't get ourselves to a dependable running game. We can't let our defense (Lord help!) stay on the field like that. RUN THE BALL - PLEASE! We will get bit again and again if pass happy Payton doesn't learn how to control the ball better. He should not lay this kind of weight on Brees week in and week out. Run the ball so that Brees can get comfortable enough to flow, and keep our defense off of the field.
