1. Thank Henderson for his service and wish him well in his next gig. Personally I'd just man up and tell him he's not worth the big money and frankly he's obligated to test the FA market. 2. Resign Patton and install him as the #2 receiver. 3. Get Meachum ready to play. In other words, I wouldn't spend a lick of time on the receiver position this offseason. Now if another gem like Colston is lingering around in the later rounds of the draft, then maybe I spend a pick. Maybe. But free agents? Not unless they want to come play for the minimum. I just can't see justifying paying any more money for receivers right now. That's my nickel (inflation ya know?) to the convo. SFIAH |
