He might not be MVP of the league, but he still racked up the 12th most tackles in the league. He had 27 more tackles than the nearest Saint. Yes, he's old, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have 3 or 4 more years in him. If it was me, I'd bring Ray Lewis in without a hesitation.

I agree. I'd glady take Ray. The #'s he posted this year, were done while playing injured.

And for anybody who says he's not the Ray Lewis of years past, you might be right. But I'll tell you what, if I could get a guy who would post 121 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 2 interceptions, and a defensive touchdown every season, I'd take him in a heart beat. you are intitled to your opinion of course but i hope the front office does not agree with you. and the 1 run in with the law was a major one. by the way...why is the coach gone from baltimore? do we need a "teammate" like him to call out the coaches when they make mistakes? I don't think payton would want him. perhaps I am wrong but perhaps I am not

Re: Should the Saints be interested?

First of all, I doubt that Brian Billick was fired because of Ray Lewis' comments. It was probably more to do with the fact that they have underachieved mightily over the last few seasons.

And the run in with the law had nothing to do with Lewis. He was a witness. He didn't leave his car.

You might be right, Payton might not want him, but I think he'd be a great addition to the team.

Billick was fired for that lost to Miami.
