Wow, I am amazed at how many would not like the move. He is coming off a 120 tackle season and is a true leader. I do not view him as the overall solution to the Saints problems, but could be productive for a couple seasons while he helps bridge the gap for his eventual replacement. I also think his presence would elevate the players around him.

I think it all depends upon money, and who else is available in the draft and FA. Ray Lewis on the downside of his career is better than almost all of our current LB's in their "prime". For a incentive laden contract I would jump at the opportunity for a leader and a guy who gives it everything he has like Ray does. |
