Faith in the team has nothing to do with the fact that I am not overly excited about how this team is performing. I just don't understand that because Caoch P says "Yeah, we have a problem on defense and we are going to look at making it better", what? That was the same problem we had last year, and nothing was fixed, it was made worse. Now, instead of going after a proven defensive coach we hire a failed HC to help the D-line. Yes, everyone has to start somewhere, but do you really go after the guy that was chased out of his last job???? I am sorry to be sooooo negative guys, but how many stupid mistakes does it take for the Front Office to stand up and say, "HEY, let's stop bringing in second rate talent into this organization and really make this team great." It just seems this team get's the players noboby else wants, and I'm tired of it. No one on this site can say they are happy with the way things are and have gone for this team. It's depressing guys. I still want to know what a "Homer" is. |

A "homer" is someone who is blinded by their bias towards their favorite team. In this case LSU. I was alluding to the comments about Skylar Green, and Missle having two guys from LSU in his mock - primarily, Steltz going as the 40th player taken.
It didn't have anything to do with Coach O or the Saints Defensive woes. Since you mentioned coach O: he was a failed HC, sure, but so was Cutcliffe and he's a pretty good offensive coordinator. Coach O has shown that he has an eye for talent and has a pretty damn good record of coaching up D-linemen. I figure Payton needs some help finding good defensive talent. I dont' see where his record as an HC has any meaningful impact on his ability to do that. |

I'm sure Skyler Green is happy to be a Saint. I think it was a good idea to bring him here. We'll see.

At what point did I say that LSU players suck? What does Marvin Mitchell have to do with spending a 2nd round pick on a SS with 4th round talent just because you unilaterally decided that Roman Harper needs to be replaced after 20 games? |

Calm down now, calm down.
Yes, I will fall into the Homer catagory. I would love to see the Saints LSU and Southern Miss heavy. Is is because I love both teams and blah, blah, blah. Nothing is personal around here. I didn't take any offence to what whodat205 said. We are USM brothers. Back to Coach O, I will say it again, I hope I'm wrong about him and I catch alot crap next year. I just want what is best for this team. That's all, even if it means drafting all the LSU players. |

Imagine if we had Boley and AT...we picked Adrian McPherson 8 spots before Boley and Bulger was picked 18 spots before AT. That pick double-sucks. Anyway, about the return men. Take a serious look at McKelvin. His stock is on the rise, and he could break the top 15. He's a good m2m corner with a ton of speen, he's probably the best return man in the draft to boot. He's worth consideration at 10 depending on his combine. As for a back-up QB, I bet Jeremy Young will be there in the 6th... |

McKELVIN is a good one no doubt.....I think both he and ROBINSON will fly under the radar a bit on draft day and be an absolute steal for some lucky team.

Hey saintsmissile....in case you have not noticed....Payton is going all offense all the time with just a sprinkle of defensive nobodys just to make it look like he gives a hoot.
