Everyone realizes we need to concentrate on the defensive side of the ball, but if we ignore the offense, everyone will catch up. Staying still is not the way to get ahead. If Clady is the best player available on our board at 10 and we cant trade back, I say take him.
We've ignored the defense for too long and it's already caught up to us. The Saints have only picked 2 defensive first day players in the last two years, and have signed only midrange free agents on the defensive side of the ball.

Strief is good enough to start in this league and he's going on 3 years experience at this point. The Saints need defensive talent in the worst way.

Draft defense.

I am leary about a corner in the first, that hasnt worked out well for us in the past. I say a LB,DT,or OT. get a corner in Free agency and maybe in the second round. No wr until 4th rd, sign Andre Davis, along with meachem and colston.
