Falcons looking to trade Hall?
DeAngelo Hall-DB-Falcons Feb. 19 - 7:07 pm et
The Falcons are reportedly gauging trade interest in CB DeAngelo Hall, who enters the final year of his contract in 2008. New coach Mike Smith wants to wrap up Hall long term, but the Falcons are tearing the roster apart before building it back up. If they can get a late first-round pick for Hall, they'll almost certainly pull the trigger. Hall is on record as saying he wants to be dealt if he doesn't get a new contract. Re: Falcons looking to trade Hall?
I'd trade the 10th overall pick for a mid/late first round pick and a 3rd round pick, then give the mid/late first round pick to Atlanta. this idea is foolproof imo xD.

Re: Falcons looking to trade Hall?
lol every time someone posts about a player someone has to come in and point out their flaws and completely disregard them as an option.
do you want the saints to win or not? bottom line. |

Re: Falcons looking to trade Hall?
I don't think Atlanta would trade the guy to a division rival, but stranger things have happened before. He would be a very nice upgrade for the Saints. I too have issues with his character. I do wonder though if it was simply his frustration playing for Bobby Petrino, and a bad team, or is the guy just a true jerk? Maybe I just don't remember a lot of stuff these days, but I do not remember him being an issue with Mora.

I would give up 10 if the falcons gave us Hall and both of their second round picks this year also. Ok their highest second rounder and third, maybe

Hall is a poser. He is not that good. |

The Combine, QBs and D-Hall | Falcons | ajc.com
"Something I’ll be following are the developments with CB DeAngelo Hall. Smith and the coaching staff want him back but Dimitroff said they are weighing trade options. This could get interesting very soon because Hall wants an extension, that would cut into any team’s salary-cap space. If the Falcons have that money earmarked elsewhere, Hall could be moved and Atlanta would then have to find someone to replace him. Dimitroff said Hall makes the Falcons better so his decision could also send an interesting message. Do you trade away a guy who you said makes you better or do you commit huge dollars to him long-term — maybe at the expense of adding a high draft pick — and hope he matures and becomes a better player?" |

Re: Falcons looking to trade Hall?
Hall is a first class idiot- no way Payton would look at him. He is still criticized here for taunting the Eagles' bench 2 years ago with "Are you going to Hawaii? I AM!!!" Of course, Philly was going to the play-offs that year, and probably wasn't concerned with the Pro Bowl yet.
