they absolutely need to bring in a few players that are relatively young, smart, and play 110% on every play on the defensive side......
i really don't care who as long as they do that....... if they are sincere in rebuilding the defense, this is a good start, imo....... then, address mostly defense in the draft........although i would like some depth added on the offense as well , hell, just build a s.b. team, alright? |

I said this earlier in the year, but our pass rush got nullified because there was no consistently good play by the defensive tackles. Hollis Thomas usually just sat there and no one else could push the pocket, which allowed teams to double on Grant and Smith at will. A DT who can crush the pocket is an absolute need for this team. There should be plenty of good ones in rounds 1-2 but if a guy like Dorsey or Ellis falls far enough to us I think we should do everything we can to snatch him up.
