Re: One Last Desperation Resort (Regarding CB situation
I'm a huge believer in Cromartie. I know Flowers is highly respected but I will go down on record saying Cromartie is going to be a freak at the next level.
as far as the draft goes.. it is still an absolute eternity away from now.. i wish it was sooner.. ANYTHING can happen between now and then.. |

Re: One Last Desperation Resort (Regarding CB situation
i agree Flowers is too small and lacks elite speed.. thats why i am in love with cromartie as a blazing 6'2 man to man beast with playmacking abilities on the ball.

Re: One Last Desperation Resort (Regarding CB situation
hey...all these guys are still on the trading block and would not command more than a 3rd round pick, they are under contract for 2-4 yrs and 26yrs or younger ...so we are still in good position...Fabian Washington, Lito Sheppard, Dominique Foxworth

AMEN! far too risky to spend a fortune for long term contracts. |

Re: One Last Desperation Resort (Regarding CB situation
I'm a huge fan of this Dominique R-Cromartie.. I can't emphasize that enough. IF JD is starting on one size then I want him for his size and flat out blazing speed. I know Flowers is regarding as the most physical cb in the draft but I want the speed and size advantage guy. DRC reminds me a lot of his cousin who happen to lead this entire NFL in intereceptions.. except DRC seems to have even more skillz and tools to be every bit as good if not better..

I dread the Lions game when our secondary will have to go up against the likes of Calvin Johnson, Roy Williams.. etc..

Re: One Last Desperation Resort (Regarding CB situation
As bad as our CBs were, we were a competitive team and in the playoff hunt until the end of the season . You don't have to be 16-0 to go to the Super Bowl . I think that we all are a little panicy right now If we sign Gay and Young comes on . If we pick up a guy like A. Glenn . Sign a pass rush specialist . Get lucky in the draft and get a starter at DT . A pass rushing playmaker at LB we wil be fine? SIMPLE NO WORRIES
