i am always against drafting corners.. i don't even want any other corner.. if we don't get drc.. then i def want rivers, and dt's, and even a rb or wr..
do you think the saints will draft a fs?

If we draft a RB in the first, I will flip my lid!!!!! This is one of the deepest drafts at RB in years. There will be upper tier RB's in the 2nd round. I'm not for drafting a CB in this year's class either. Nobody at CB this year seems to jump out & say "starter" material. In a perfect world, Dorsey or Ellis will slide to us at 10. But let's face it....this isn't a perfect world & that scenario is very unlikely. If Clady is there....take him. He's an instant upgrade at OT. I would also like Rivers if the others I named are gone. No way....I repeat....NO WAY should we draft a RB in the 1st round!!!!!!!

yeah, its a deep RB class, but Mendenhall is the best RB in the draft besides McFadden. he would vastly improve this offense.

I still don't want any more depth at RB tho, we have Pierre Thomas.

While I really like Mendenhall, no way should we spend 1st round money on a RB....again. If we really feel like we need a "between the tackles" runner to compliment Reggie Bush, take Ray Rice in the 3rd!!! "Ray, Ray" is a great between the tackles runner, sheds tackles, & runs with lots & lots of heart & determination. I have yet to see a defense shut this guy down & everyone put eight in the box on him. Anyway....This class is way too deep at RB to draft Mendenhall at #10.

I'm in the "no rb for rd 1 please" group. I won't; however, go postal if this scenario happens. As mentioned by others I just think its a very deep RB class and we have a decent RBBC thing going on. Dorsey, Ellis, or Rivers, and if none of them are there I think we look at possible options for dropping down. Just my two cents.

Mendenhall would be in the same predicament as Reggie with that #5.. he could just join the RB order..

but nah seriously pass on Mendenhall please. i'd rather jONAthan stewart second round if he fell there and if we go rb.. he fits our thunder lightening style much better as a future replacement for mcallister..

Whats crazy is Pierre is the same size (5'11) and only 14 pounds lighter than Mendenhall.. Pierre also has much more impressive stats at Illinois..

Did you know, PT is the first Saints player to gain over 100 yards both rushing and receiving in the same game..
