Jets, can I have this dance
I think it's highly probable the Saints trade up with the Jets to the 6 spot to get Sedrick Ellis, since Dorsey is mostly likely sianara by then. The Jets desperately need a WR but taking one at 6 would be a pretty big reach. The Saints desperatly need a DT but know Ellis will be gone by the time 10 comes around.
It makes a lot of sense to me unless we trade with the Jets for D. Robinson before the draft. |

I wish, but rarely in the NFL do things work out in the most logical way and/or the way the fans have planned it out, no matter how much we'd like to see it or how much sense it makes.

Re: Jets, can I have this dance
damn------------bad flashback to the last time we traded up to 6 for a DT:
Jonathan Sullivan seriously though, I think there is a good chance Ellis will be there |

Re: Jets, can I have this dance
With the signing of McGray, moving Grant inside to tackle on passing downs makes taking a DT in later rounds. So a top flight LB is needed more now than a DT

Re: Jets, can I have this dance
10 to 6? 300 pts? thats pick 60 in value of the 2nd round. I do not see it working unless we redo the Vilma trade. Jets do not have a third to even make the trade work. There is always Stinch from us and Roberston and his knee from them to work with. Stinch would be about a fourth round value, they need a RT, maybe. 70pts and that would mean giving up our third rounder also. I am not to crazy about that one.
Any one got another way of looking at this one? |

We would be looking at 1- Sedrick Ellis, DT, USC, 6005, 309, 5.23 3- Justin King, CB, Penn St., 5107, 192, 4.31 4- Shawn Crable, OLB, Michigan, 6049, 245, 4.64 and another 4th to go. |
