Saints | Meachem medically cleared
Mon, 17 Mar 2008 23:06:42 -0700 Jimmy Smith, of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, reports New Orleans Saints WR Robert Meachem (knee) has been medically cleared, according to head coach Sean Payton. "I've been encouraged with the feedback I've gotten with the way he's running. I think any lingering effects from his knee from a year ago have all but disappeared. That's encouraging. . . . He's cleared and full speed ahead," Payton added. If we trade down, it will be like we have 3 first rounders... as long as the get on the field. |

Killer? I would not go that far. We are one of the NFL leaders in dropped passes. The #4 and #5 can be replaced with a drop of a hat. Patton is almost as old as me, so he needs a replacement soon. That leaves Colston and the untested Mech. I see a draft pick going to the slot postion as a high mid round pick, 3rd, on draft day.
