You played against RYAN FITZPATRICK AND MARK SANCHEZ!!!

C'mon now, if you're going to go that route keep in mind that the vast majority of the Saints INTs and SCKs have come against
Stafford - 1st NFL start
Kolb - 1st NFL start
Sanchez
Edwards - really crappy QB, as well.

I was referring to the comments the fan made about their CB's performances in the last two games. Our last two games were vs two very O lines as well. Okay, I'll give you the Jets, since we played the same team. But the Giants..? We dominated one of the better o lines in the game.

What I took from your comments was that you were suggesting that the idea that our CBs have shown improvement (over the last 2 games) meant very little due to the quality of opposition.
If one is going to take that view then IMO it's fair to question how meaningful 11 out of the 12 INTs and 10 out of the 11 SCKs are that your D has recorded. Since most of them have come from QBs with little to no experience.
After all, while your defense pressured Manning into a subpar game, you still only recorded a single INT and a single SCK against the Giants.
Are you then saying that your game against the Giants is the only game to use as a measuring stick?
I guess I just don't really understand your comments.
(and yeah maybe I'm slow)
For that matter our 3 losses came against ATL, Indy and SD. Three teams who are potentially going to be in the playoffs. While all but one of your wins have been against crappy teams. Does that make your wins less or our losses more meaningful to the overall quality of the 2 teams?
I'm just curious...

Yes, I would take quality of opponent into account.

You feel free to question the validity of our defensive #'s all you want. Bottom line (and my point) is that MIA fans are getting excited about how well the CB's played against Sanchez and Edwards.

Stats? Okay, let's compare the two teams we've both played - NYJ and BUFF:

MIA: Sacks 7 Picks 3
NO: Sacks 8 Picks 4

Well damn...LOL, That makes MIA's defense just about the best in the league!!

Seriously though, the two teams put up 37 pts on MIA. On us? 17...

C'mon dude...New Orleans had TWO sacks, ONE int and also forced Manning into a fumble (we recovered yay!)...and that doesn't even count the # of times he was rocked and/or threw the ball away to avoid a sack or int.

Would you say NYG, PHI and NYJ aren't playoff teams??? Before you say it, keep in mind the NYJ have a one game lead on the PHINS...

Look, I welcome your thoughts and as I've stated in other posts, I respect what your offense does. Let's just agree though that your defense surrenders points mostly bc of the secondary...
